Audi has managed to post the 54th consecutive monthly US sales record in June. Deliveries went up by 8.3% to 18,262 units in comparison to June 2014 and this new result represents the best-ever June sales, thus beating last year’s June results when Audi sold 16,86 cars. In the first half of this year, the Ingolstadt-based automaker delivered 11% more cars (93,615 units) compared to January-June 2014.
A significant boost in sales was the A3 lineup consisting of the A3 Sedan, A3 Cabriolet and the S3 Sedan which combined brought a massive 42% hike in deliveries compared to June 2014. In addition, sales of the A6 & S6 went up by 11% whereas the A8 lineup (A8, A8 L, S8) enjoyed a 10.6% year-over-year increase.
Audi shifted 24.1% more units of the Q3, Q5 and Q7 model and they also managed to establish a new record for Audi Certified pre-owned vehicle sales by delivering 4,176 units, representing a 14.4% increase compared to June 2014. From January until June this year, CPO sales have jumped by a significant 9.3%.
