Audi achieves 49th consecutive monthly sales record in US

Audi has managed to set the 49th consecutive monthly sales record in United States in January. After achieving its fifth consecutive year of record sales, the Ingolstadt-based automaker has posted the best ever January results in U.S., beating the previous January 2014 record when they delivered 10,101 cars. Last month they managed to sell a total of 11,541 vehicles, fueled by the success of models such as the A3 and SUV model lines.

Moreover, January 2015 was the best month ever for Audi Certified pre-owned cars and also the 18th consecutive month of record Audi CPO sales, with sales of 3,730 units representing a massive 18 percent compared to Jan 2014.

The monthly sales record achieved by Audi was also helped by an increasing demand for SUVs as sales of the Q3, Q5 and Q7 models jumped by 15.8 percent. The A3 model lineup encompassing the A3 Sedan, S3 Sedan and A3 Cabriolet was sold in 2,383 examples, thus making it the second best-selling model for Audi in United States.
