Audi Academy moves into new building

The Audi Academy has moved into a new building inaugurated on site of former foundry. It’s located between the Danube, the New Castle and the Technical University where Audi has established a new seminar and office building as part of the five-floor construction where around 250 employees of the Audi Academy work.

The newly established building for the Audi Academy has no less than 28 seminar rooms and 8 meeting rooms and it was constructed in only 8 months by IGE, a joint subsidiary of AUDI AG and IFG Ingolstadt. The building is 66 meters long, 33 meters wide and approximately 24 meters tall. It benefits from a generous atrium as well as floor-to-ceiling windows featuring flexible façade elements that provide enough daylight inside the building.

The building for Audi Academy also benefits from open areas on all four upper floors while on the ground floor there’s a central reception area as well as a staff restaurant. Visitors and employees are able to park their cars in the available parking spaces situated one floor lower in the newly established Congress underground parking garage which provides direct access to the Audi Academy.

It should be mentioned the Audi Academy is responsible for competence development, training, change and ideas management, along with the university cooperation of AUDI AG. Subjects covered include personnel development, personality and behavioral training, as well as technical courses and language training.
