Audi A7 Sportback Oceano GT Special Edition Is A Rare Beauty

The Audi A7 Sportback is a head-turner in just about any spec possible, but some configurations are more desirable than others. Case in point, this Oceano GT special edition turns the luxury grand tourer into a veritable stunner thanks to its Galaxy Blue paint, 21-inch wheels, and the S Line exterior package. Shot by splice77 / YouTube at the Audi Kista Stockholm dealer in Sweden, the car is actually part of a limited-run version as Audi is making only 111 examples.

If you’re not convinced by the exterior, the lovely spec you’ll find inside should do the trick. The white Valcona leather upholstery for the seats is nicely complemented by the grayish-brown inlays on the center console and the dashboard. Wooden decorative inserts and floor mats from Audi Exclusive are also noticeable, while the door cards are a thing of beauty.

Audi hasn’t made a big deal about the Oceano GT special edition as we weren’t able to find a press release. That said, we did a bit of digging and found out the car comes in the 50 TDI and 55 TFSI versions, so the top-of-the-line engines available for the A7 Sportback. Both are 3.0-liter V6 units working with Quattro all-wheel-drive, with the diesel hooked up to an eight-speed Tiptronic while the gasoline mill is connected to a seven-speed S Tronic.

In terms of power, the 50 TDI offers 286 hp and 620 Nm for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.7 seconds en route to 155 mph (250 km/h). Go for the 55 TFSI and you’ll get 340 hp and 500 Nm, with the sprint time dropping to 5.3 seconds. The top speed remains the same.

If you’re wondering how much it costs, we found the Audi A7 Sportback Oceano GT in gasoline flavor at another dealer in Sweden with an asking price of 744,900 kr. That works out to nearly $79,000 or €71,000 at current exchange rates.
