Audi A6 e-tron Avant Render is the Electric Sports Wagon We Want

Audi’s latest electric concept is the all-new A6 e-tron, which is going to be an all-electric sedan based on the same PPE architecture as the upcoming Audi Q6 e-tron and Porsche Macan electric. It boast some impressive specs and a battery range that will make it highly competitive. But the best part of the Audi A6 e-tron might be its looks, as it’s a stunning four-door Sportback with a smooth shape and sleek lines. However, a new render has been released, showing off what the A6 e-tron might look like as an Avant.


Some of the best looking wagons ever made have been Audi Avants, so we naturally want to see some new ones once the brand turns electric. This render proves why.

To make the render, the artist took the roofline and C-pillar of the Audi RS6 Avant and stuck it on the Audi A6 e-tron. As it turns out, the A6 e-tron’s design holds up very well to a wagon body style and it would instantly be one of the best looking wagons on sale, if it were made.


We also expect an Audi e-tron Avant sometime in the near future, considering Porsche already has a wagon version of its all-electric Taycan. Audi is a far bigger maker of wagons than Porsche, so it stands to reason that Audi would have more electric wagons than Porsche. Plus, fast, stylish wagons have always been part of Audi’s business model are one of the main types of vehicles Audi is famous for. If Audi doesn’t build an electric Avant in the near future, we’ll be surprised.

After seeing this render, it seems that the Audi A6 e-tron is the perfect candidate to be the brand’s first e-tron wagon. Let’s just hope that Audi decides to make one sooner than later and also adds a performance variant to it.
