The 2015 Audi A6 Allroad has arrived in Australia and it’s now on sale starting at $111,900 plus on-road costs. It’s $6,000 cheaper than before and comes with a wider singleframe front grille, updated front bumper and standard LED headlights. The back of the car hosts LED taillights (with dynamic indicators), revised exhaust tips along with a chrome strip on the lower bumper.
On the inside it has gained a new high-resolution driver information display, aluminum & chrome highlights, more ergonomic gear knob while the capacity of the trunk has remained the same at 565 liters, but if you fold down the rear seats you get 1,680 liters.
Under the hood of the 2015 Audi A6 Allroad is a V6 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine which generates 160 kW and 500 Nm. It’s enough power to allow the mid-size rugged wagon sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.3 seconds while fuel consumption stands at a decent 5.6 liters / 100 km. Power is sent to a quattro all-wheel drive system through a standard 7-speed S tronic gearbox working with the turbodiesel engine which benefits from start/stop technology to cut fuel consumption.
At an additional cost, the 2015 Audi A6 Allroad can receive $2,300 matrix LED headlights, $1,950 Bose surround sound system and a $2,980 panoramic sunroof.
