Audi A5 grabs 2015 Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own award

The Audi A5 lineup has managed to win the 2015 Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own award in the Luxury Car category. KBB is considered to be the leading provider of new & used vehicle info and has labeled the A5 as being the best in its segment as far as lowest projected ownership costs are concerned.

Audi of America president Scott Keogh said “High quality of build and efficient, yet powerful performance are two hallmarks of Audi vehicles that contribute to a lower cost of ownership. We’re proud to see the 2015 Audi A5 continue that trend with a 5-Year Cost to Own Award.”

It should be mentioned the 2015MY Audi A5 is motivated by a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter TFSI direct-injected turbocharged gasoline engine generating 220 bhp and 258 lb-ft. The latest model year has brought 18-inch Exclusive ten-spoke alloys, an S line exterior on the A5 Premium Plus, navigation package with side assist while the A5 Premium gets standard xenon headlights, dynamic range adjustment and LED taillights.

When equipped with the optional Tiptronic automatic gearbox, the Audi A5 Coupe will do 22 mpg city / 31 mpg highway / 25 mpg combined while the Cabriolet is going to return 20 / 28 / 23.
