The Audi A5 Coupe facelift is the star of a new video released this week by the company’s UK division. It was back in July 2011 when Audi facelifted the entire A5 range and now more than three years later the coupe body style still manages to look quite fresh and attractive. Shown here is the model commercialized in UK where it has a starting price of £29,200 in the base SE level. Up next is the S line from £31,790 and the Black Edition priced at £32,865.
Depending on the trim level, Audi is offering a wide array of engines such as the 1.8 TFSI, 2.0 TFSI quattro, 2.0 TFSI ultra, 2.0 TDI, 2.0 TDI quattro, 3.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI quattro, with all of them packing an automatic start-stop function, recuperation for optimal energy utilization while the diesel engines also get a particulate filter.
S line and Black Edition trims can be optionally configured with a sports suspension featuring stiffer settings and shock absorbers while alloy wheels range in size (depending on trim) from 17-inch to 19-inch. All models come equipped with a ten-speaker 180-watt sound system with subwoofer, DAB digital radio reception, Bluetooth while S line and Black Edition also have HDD Navigation system plus. The range-topping Black Edition comes also with Audi Music Interface and a Bang & Olufsen audio system.
The current Audi A5 Coupe will be replaced sometime in 2016 by an all-new model which will ride on the MLB platform and it’s expected to shave off as much as 90 kg.
