The Audi A4 B9 is now available on order in Germany where it starts at €30,650. For this money you will be getting the entry-level sedan version whereas the Avant kicks off at €32,500. Both of them share the base 1.4 TFSI engine with 150 hp and 250 Nm, but for those who want more punch under the hood, there’s a brand spanking new 2.0 TFSI with 190 hp & 320 Nm and 252 hp & 370 Nm.
If you do a lot of miles, the 2.0 TDI should be the engine of choice and it can be had in two states of tune: 150 hp & 320 Nm and 190 hp & 400 Nm. The top diesel is a larger 3.0 TDI rewarding buyers with 218 hp & 400 Nm in the standard specification and 272 hp & 600 Nm in the top-tier guise. An interesting powertrain option is the CNG-compatible 2.0 TFSI powering the A4 Avant g-tron where it churns 170 hp & 270 Nm.
Deliveries of the Audi A4 B9 will commence this fall in Europe and hopefully we will have full pricing info in the weeks to come. As for the US-spec model, this one is programmed to go on sale in March 2016 and will be available at first as a quattro-only mode with the 252 hp TFSI and 190 hp TDI.
