Independent artist X-Tomi Design from Hungary is sharing his vision of the forthcoming Audi A4 allroad quattro. Sales of the regular Avant haven’t even started yet, but that hasn’t stopped him from digitally envisioning the more rugged version which is likely bound to hit dealerships sometime next year. It’s easy to imagine how the car will end up looking as we know it’s getting some plastic black body cladding around the wheel arches and side skirts, along with aluminum front and rear underbody protection.
It will also benefit from an increased ride height which will enable the wagon to better tackle bumpy terrains without risking damaging the undercarriage while the stellar traction provided by the permanent quattro all-wheel drive system will create perhaps the perfect all-around vehicle. Underneath the hood will probably be the top-tier engines of the B9 generation, such as the 252 PS 2.0 TFSI gasoline unit, along with the 190 PS 2.0 TDI and the more appealing 3.0 TDI with 218 PS and 272 PS sent to both axles.
Audi hasn’t said a word yet about the A4 allroad quattro, but we won’t be surprised if the vehicle will make its world premiere in March next year at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, with sales kicking off shortly thereafter.
