The third generation Audi TT has received a tuning package from ABT just in time for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The modified coupe is being showcased at the Swiss show alongside the RS6-R Avant and is being described as a “fast gunmetal bullet”. The body of the car has received a “gunmetal” wrap while the four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine has been upgraded from the series 230 HP (169 kW) to 310 HP (228 kW). In addition, torque has been bumped from 370 Nm to an impressive 440 Nm.
The added oomph requires additional braking power which thankfully ABT have provided by installing 370x35mm discs with six-piston calipers. Moreover, the third generation Audi TT has also received a set of suspension springs and stabilizers which have boosted the coupe’s agility, especially during fast cornering.
Stock wheels were removed in order to make room for the tuner’s 20-inch ABT FR set shod in 255/30 R20 Continental tires. There’s also a more aggressive and wider body kit encompassing a new front skirt that has an offset spoiler lip. Also different are the mirror caps while the rear end hosts a fixed wing and skirt insert.
Lastly, the German tuner has installed a custom exhaust system equipped with black tailpipes which should provide a more aggressive tone.
