The aftermarket specialists from ABT Sportsline are introducing an upgrade program for the hardcore Audi RS5 Coupe. This new kit comes after a similar package developed for the RS5 Cabriolet which was unveiled by ABT at the beginning of May this year, but while the open-top version was upgraded to 450 bhp and 317 lb-ft, in the car seen here the naturally aspirated V8 4.2-liter engine has been further tuned to generate 464 bhp and a peak torque of 324 lb-ft.
As a result of this significant power bump, the Audi RS5 Coupe modified by ABT is capable of hitting 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in as little as 4.3 seconds on its way onto a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). ABT is also offering an “R” package which brings a variety of other upgrades including a carbon fiber aerodynamic body kit encompassing rocker panels, front skirt and flics, fixed rear wing and a different rear apron.
As a final touch, the Audi RS5 Coupe by ABT Sportsline seen here has been equipped with a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels that tip the scales at 9.5 kg and come wrapped around in performance tires measuring 275/30 ZR20.
