ABT Sportsline Audi RS3 Sportback will help take on AMG A45 S

We just recently spoke about the all-new Mercedes-AMG A45 S, a car that finally out-powers the Audi RS3 Sportback at its own game. To be honest, as it currently stands, it’s hard to argue against the new AMG, as it’s the most powerful car in its class, looks fantastic and has an awesome new interior. While the RS3 Sportback is great, it’s getting a bit long in the tooth these days. However, if you’re already an RS3 owner and don’t like the fact that AMG just one-upped your car, the folks at ABT Sportsline have a solution for you.

The new ABT Power S package for the Audi RS3 combines a new ABT ECU tune along with an upgraded intercooler to create even more power than the new AMG. While you could have always purchased the ECU tune, this new Power S pack brings the upgraded intercooler, which not only helps to increase power but increases reliability as well. The new combined aspects of the Power S kit bumps power up from the stock car’s 400 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque to a whopping 470 hp and 398 lb-ft.

On top of that, ABT Sportsline also offers a coilover suspension kit, anti-roll bar kit and big brake kit. Those, combined with larger, lighter wheels can help the Audi RS3 handle and stop as well as it goes. So your RS3 would be properly prepared to take on the all-new AMG, despite its age. If you add the visual upgrades ABT has to offer, such as the lower front lip and rear wing, it will look every bit as aggressive as its Stuttgart rival, too.

The Audi RS3 Sportback is still an excellent car, despite being the oldest car in the segment now. Though there’s no doubt its newer competitors have a leg up over it. So if you’re looking for a car in its segment, you might not want to spring for the old RS3. But if you already own one, this tuning package from ABT Sportsline can not only help breathe some new life back into your car but actually give it an advantage over its newer competition.
