The ABT RS6-R based on the pre-facelift Audi RS6 Avant is being exhibited at the 2014 Essen Motor Show. The vehicle was originally unveiled towards the end of February before heading to the Geneva Motor Show and now it’s making a pitstop in Essen together with its 730 HP (537 kW) & 920 Nm (678 lb-ft) coming from an uprated twin-turbo V8.
Only 25 units will ever be made and all of them are going to come with an extensive body kit turning the Audi RS6 Avant into an even more meaner-looking high-performance wagon capable of going up against even proper supercar. The vehicle sits on massive 22-inch alloys shod in Dunlop 295/25 ZR22 tires and has received a wide array of upgrades such as the height-adjustable spring kit, aftermarket stainless steel exhaust system and a massive rear diffuser while the body benefits from a black & dark red theme.
The ABT RS6-R also feature several interior cabin enhancements such as unique floor mats, red carbon fiber applications, embroidered headrests and a new sports steering wheel equipped with shift paddles and LED shifting lights.
It should be mentioned this isn’t ABT’s first take on the Audi RS6 Avant as their previous kits bumped output of the eight-cylinder engine to 666 HP (490 kW) & 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) and then to 700 HP (515 kW) & 880 Nm (649 lb-ft) and now the numbers have increased once again.
