So ABT Sportsline recently teased its latest project, the Audi RS6-E Hybrid, a tuned hybrid version of the standard RS6. ABT also teased that it would make around 1,000 hp. However, it actually makes a little bit more, as the ABT Audi RS6-E Hybrid has just been revealed and it makes an astonishing 1,004 hp. That’s madness.

Most of that power comes from its engine, a 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 which, without the help of the electric motors, has already been tuned to 730 hp. The bump to 730 hp is actually something ABT sells independently of the RS6-E and is something that’s part of the brand’s Power R kit. Through in the electric motor that’s mounted in the transmission tunnel to help power the rear wheels, which makes 288 hp of its own, and you get something that’s 1,004 hp and flipping fast.

According to ABT, the Audi RS6-E can get from 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds. We don’t buy it. We think it could break into the two-second range. It makes an astonishing amount of power, has Quattro all-wheel drive grip and is based on the standard RS6, a car that’s already beaten supercars in a straight line.

What’s even more interesting about this new Audi RS6-E is the fact that it gets an e-boost button. So if you want all of that electric power right now, there’s a little green button with a lightning bolt on it. That button is for e-boost. It also gets a new futuristic wrap and lowered suspension with H&R spring. So, in theory, the Audi RS6 E should be one of the fastest cars on the planet.

In the top video, you get a series of moving/driving photos and its look. However, the second video is from Daniel ABT himself and describe the car in great detail and it’s really quite fascinating.
