Audi Forum Neckarsulm in Germany currently has on display a lovely Audi A7 Sportback 3.0 TDI quattro finished in Daytona Gray.
Even though it came out way back in 2010, the A7 still looks quite fresh to us and this facelifted version with S line bits and pieces looks jaw-dropping. This particular Sportback also has the optional Daytona Grey pearl effect paint available for a cool €2,750 in Germany and rides on the five-spoke 20-inch Audi Sport rims shod in 265/35 R20 priced at €600. Moreover, we notice the matrix LED headlights (€960), tinted windows (€450) along with one of the optional three-spoke steering wheels.
As a refresher, Audi has announced the next-generation A7 Sportback will lose the droopy rear end in favor of a more conventional layout. While some people will consider this as good news, others will be disappointed as this is basically what makes the current A7 stand out in Audi’s range. That being said, the new one will likely be a real stunner as the exterior design will be influenced by the mesmerizing Prologue concept.
It will be a while until the next A7 will be out as the model is programmed to be launched after the next-gen A8 due early 2017. In others words, an all-new A7 will not see the light of production day before 2018.
