The spectacular Audi R8 by Liberty Walk is back in live images following its debut at SEMA a few weeks ago.
It’s now on a nationwide tour in the United States as the owner is taking it to various shop openings and car shows. The attached photos were taken in Maryland during the inauguration of the Performance Auto Gallery and those who attended the event had the chance to check out the Audi R8 by Liberty Walk up close and personal.
The quality of the craftsmanship appears to be top notch as it should taking into account the project was completed by none other than Japan’s LB-Performance and then the vehicle was shipped to the U.S. of A.
In the end, it’s a matter of personal tastes but one can agree the car has lost some of the magic provided by the stock R8. The wide body kit could be a bit too much, just like the bolt-on fender flares that you will find on numerous other projects that have Liberty Walk’s signature.
Nevertheless, it’s still interesting to see the vision of Japanese tuners of a modified German supercar. Only time will tell whether the second generation Audi R8 will also receive the aftermarket treatment from Liberty Walk taking into account the tuner took its sweet time working on the old one.
