VIDEO: 700 Horsepower Audi RS3 Sounds Incredible at the Drag Strip

The Audi RS3 is one of the most popular Audis to tune, thanks to its killer 2.5 liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine. Not only is the little five-pot a great engine to use from the factory but it has a ton of tuning potential. In fact, without even touching the internals, you can pump out hundreds more horsepower than stock, which is exactly what the car in this video makes.

In this video, we see a 700 horsepower Audi RS3 Sedan, tuned by Nar & Car Performance. We don’t now what mods it has but we’ve seen RS3s make that sort of power before with just a tune, bigger turbo, upgraded intercooler, a better intake, and new exhaust. Which is what this car looks like it has, when you look under the hood. There may be some internal upgrades but we don’t know. We do know that it could use some stiffer motor mounts because the engine makes so much power it looks like it wants to twist itself out of the engine bay under throttle.

The tuned Audi RS3 in this video takes on several high-powered supercars and other tuned small cars, with varying degrees of success. Some cars get roasted by the little RS3, while others end up beating the RS3 in the end. Though, even a 700 horsepower RS3 will lose against a tuned Porsche 911 Turbo.

Still, having a tuned Audi RS3 must be awesome, especially when it looks as stock as this one does. Sure, it has nice wheels and it’s lowered but it doesn’t look outrageously different than the standard car, which itself is pretty nondescript. So owning a 700 horsepower RS3 must be a ton of fun in the real world. It’d give you the ability to roll up on genuine, brand-new supercars at stop lights and eat them for lunch. I don’t know what it’s like to make a rich person cry but I’d imagine it’s fun.
