Audi Sport recently revealed its Performance Parts for both the Audi TT RS and R8. These upgrades can be installed by certified Audi dealers at the time of purchase or even after the purchase. They’re parts designed by Audi Sport and are real-deal upgrades. Audi Sport had these upgrades on display at the 2017 SEMA Show, on the TT RS.
We were live, in person at SEMA, so we’re able to bring you some live photos of the Audi TT RS wearing Audi Sport’s new Performance Parts. And it looked great.
Wearing Ara Blue Crystal paint work, the Audi TT RS looked even more aggressive than it already does. The carbon fiber fixed wing, front splitter and rear diffuser make the TT RS look extra angry, very angry. The massive black wheels look great, too. All together, slapped on a car as small and stubby as the TT RS, it makes it look like a proper track weapon.
If this car has all of the performance upgrades equipped as well, it’s sporting a new, two-way adjustable coilover suspension setup, allowing it to handle sharper and look lower and meaner. There’s also a new brake upgrade to help it stop as well as it goes.
Under the hood, though, things are unchanged. Though, that’s a good thing, as the 2.5 liter turbocharged I5 engine makes 400 hp and sounds absolutely epic. In fact, it’s one of the best sounding production engines on the market. Despite not changing the engine, there is an Akrapovic exhaust system that should make that might I5 sound even better.
We love the Audi TT RS, as it’s one of the coolest cars that Audi sells at the moment. Though, we’d be very curious to drive one with all of these Audi Sport Performance Parts to see if they can possibly make it any better.
