2017 Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera rendered by Top Speed

We recently showed you some spy photos of what seemed to be the upcoming Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera, the lightweight, hardcore variant of the already manic Huracan. While we could make out that the car in question was some sort of lighter, more extreme Huracan, we couldn’t really tell what it looked like or if it was indeed a Superleggera, being that it was wearing heavy camouflage. However, the team at Top Speed have given us a render of what the car should look like when it finally debuts.

Judging by the spy photos and what Superleggera’s have looked like in the past, it’s pretty safe to say that this render is going to be very close to the final product. The massive front spoiler and huge air vents are present in the render, as they are in the spy shots, and so is the large rear wing. The intakes on the side skirts are also here in the render and feature the “Superleggera” moniker on the paintwork. It also seems to wear the same lightweight wheels as in the spy photos.

While we can’t be certain as to whether or not this will look like the real deal, it’s probably a pretty good guess. The spy shots were pretty clear as to what Lamborghini was adding to its newest supercar and Top Speed seems to have pretty much nailed it. The only other additions to the final product might be more extreme paintwork and badging.

However, do expect a massive increase in performance from the crazy Italians, regardless of what this model is. Power should be increased from the 604 hp in the current 5.2 liter V10 engine. There should also be a big decrease in weight, thanks to carbon fiber aerodynamics and interior bits. There may even be a rear-wheel drive, LP640-2 variant in the future.
