The BMW M760Li was recently unveiled by Audi’s Bavarian neighbors and is BMW’s new flagship performance car. With a 6.6 liter twin-turbocharged V12, developing 600 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, the BMW M760Li is a new competitor to the Audi S8 Plus.
The M760Li has a bigger engine than the S8 Plus, though a lower claimed power output. This is likely just a marketing tactic so that the M760Li doesn’t upstage BMW’s own Alpina B7, so it’s likely to have the same power, if not more, than the S8 Plus due to its much bigger engine. The new BMW 7 Series is a very fresh looking car, considering that it’s quite a bit newer than the Audi A8, and the M760Li is very good looking. However, the Audi S8 Plus still competes, as it’s a fantastic looking car despite its age. On the inside, though, the M760Li has more tech and luxury than the S8 Plus and that mostly comes down to the aforementioned age gap.
We’ve seen the Audi S8 Plus extensively over the past few months, so here are some pictures of the new BMW M760Li, Audi’s newest uber-luxury competitor, from the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Check it out.
