The 2016 Audi A6 facelift and 2016 A7 facelift will both be making their public debut in US specification at the Los Angeles Auto Show set for later this month. As you would expect, both of them will get the styling tweaks implemented in the European versions, including the tweaked front fascia featuring a different grille and remodeled headlights, with the A7 Sportback getting standard LED headlights. Both of them will share the trapezoidal exhaust pipes while the taillights will also benefit from LED technology.
There’s not much going on inside the cabin but both cars will benefit from an update array of upholstery options and slightly modified trims. Moreover, improved safety features and a revision to the infotainment system will also be available for both models.
The 2016 Audi A6 facelift is going to be sold with a four-cylinder 2.0-liter TFSI engine developing 252 bhp and 273 lb-ft of torque. Up next is a beefier V6 3.0-liter rated at 333 bhp and 325 lb-ft while a more economical V6 3.0-liter TDI will also be offered with 240 bhp and 428 lb-ft. The RS6 will make use of a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo unleashing 450 bhp and 406 lb-ft.
As for the A7 facelift, it gets the three latter engines and adds a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo packing 560 bhp and a maximum torque of 516 lb-ft.
You will be able to see both cars live at the Los Angeles Auto Show starting November 21.
