The 2016 Audi A4 allroad quattro has been digitally imagined ahead of an official introduction next year. Audi just took the wraps off the all-new A4 in both sedan and Avant guises and already we have an unofficial render of additional derivatives set to be added to the range in the near future. RM Design decided to show us his vision of the more rugged allroad quattro variant which will obviously be based on the A4 Avant.
Unlike the regular compact wagon, the new member will be visually distinguishable thanks to its increased ride height, front and rear protective plates, along with plastic body cladding on the wheel arches, front and rear bumpers along with the side skirts.
Needless to say, it will be sold as standard with a permanent quattro AWD system and chances are Audi will offer the model only with the stronger engines such as the 2.0 TFSI pushing out 190 PS and 252 PS while on the diesel side there will likely be a 2.0 TDI with 150 PS and 190 PS along with the larger 3.0 TDI which in the regular A4 Avant can be had with either 218 PS or 272 PS.
Chances are the 2016 Audi A4 allroad quattro will be unveiled March next year at the Geneva Motor Show.
