The 2015 Audi TT RS has just been digitally rendered by an independent car designer who envisioned a potential and relevant appearance for the range-topping third-gen TT that will likely see the light of production day sometime next year. The vehicle adopts a slightly bolder appearance with a lowered ride height, a front lip spoiler, larger air vents, beefier alloys and bigger side skirts.
Despite looking more aggressive, the render here shows a restrained appearance as seen on previous hot Audi models. Another change can be noticed in the front fascia where the grille features a honeycomb layout with a black finishes whereas the TTS has horizontal lines that have a chrome appearance.
It’s not known at this point what sort of engine Audi will decide to install in the next TT RS but we won’t be too surprised if they will decide to continue with their trustworthy five-cylinder, 2.5-liter turbocharged engine. We are making this assumption since the upcoming RS3 will likely end up with the five-banger as hinted by the exciting A3 clubsport quattro concept.
We won’t have to wait that long to find out the identity of the engine since the German marque will probably decide to reveal the RS3 (most likely in sedan form) in the second half of the year and chances are the 2015 Audi TT RS will utilize the same engine with a similar if not identical output.
