Pricing information for the 2015 Audi TT has been released in Germany where the model is available on order starting today. The cheapest model money can buy is the base TT equipped with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 230 PS (169 kW) and 370 Nm (272 lb-ft) of torque. This version will set you back 35,000 euros and grant a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 5.3 seconds when equipped with the S tronic gearbox while with the 6-speed manual it will need an additional 0.7 seconds.
Opt for the TDI variant and you will have to pay an extra 900 euros for the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter TDI turbodiesel engine which pumps out 184 PS (135 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). As you would expect from a diesel-powered car, it’s a bit slower than the TFSI variant and will need 7.2 seconds for the 0-62 mph sprint. On the other hand, you do get excellent fuel consumption as the vehicle will drink just 4.2 liters / 100 km.
The 2015 Audi TT S is priced at 49,100 euros and will be available on order sometime this fall. It comes with the usual S goodies along with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter TFSI engine rated at 310 PS (228 kW) and a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). Thanks to its more powerful heart, the S variant will need only 4.7 seconds to complete the 0-62 mph run.
