The 2015 Audi S3 Sedan looks tastefully restrained in standard form but opt for some stylish aftermarket 20-inch alloy wheels and the entire car changes into something looking more powerful and aggressive. Vossen installed their CVT wheels which are directional and need four molds to make rather than the usual one or two. As you can see, a fresh set of alloy wheels can change the looks of an entire car and in this case it was all for the better.
The standard 2015 Audi S3 Sedan in U.S. specification begins at $41,100 in the Premium Plus trim and from $47,000 for those who prefer the upper-spec Prestige. As standard it gets 18-inch five-spoke wheels which have a parallel-spoke design and come wrapped in 225/40 summer performance tires. There’s also an optional 19-inch five double-spoke Star rim with 235/40 summer performance tires and this set is available only with the Audi magnetic ride and costs $1,500.
Regardless of trim selection, all cars comes with a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged gasoline engine delivering 300 PS (221 kW) and a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) to the quattro all-wheel drive system via either a standard 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional S tronic transmission. With the former, the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint takes 5.3 seconds whereas with the S tronic the sprint is completed in 4.9 seconds. Top speed has been electronically limited by Audi to 155 mph (250 km/h).
