The 2015 Audi RS3 Sportback has made a comeback in a new video playing around in the snow. If you are in the market for a hot hatchback with a very powerful engine, Audi has the right car for you as their RS3 Sportback is probably one of the best in the segment but it’s not cheap as according to unofficial sources it costs €56,600, before adding any optional equipment.
It might sound like a lot, but in return Audi says you will be getting a “world-beating car” equipped with what they describe as being a “class-conquering engine.” It’s their traditional 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbo which has been updated for the RS3 Sportback and it now delivers no less than 367 HP (270 kW) and a peak torque of 342 lb-ft (465 Nm), making it an attractive alternative to the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG and other high-powered hot hatches.
Equipped with a quattro all-wheel drive system, the 2015 Audi RS3 Sportback has a 7-speed S tronic gearbox and runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in only 4.3 seconds before topping out at 155 mph (250 km/h) or 174 mph (280 km/h) if you are willing to pay more to have the electronic top speed limiter raised.
Other details are not available at this point but at least we know it will be offered with Catalunya Red and Sepang Blue exterior pain schemes while other hues will probably be available as well. We’ll know all the data in a short while as the 2015 Audi RS3 Sportback will be available on order starting March.
