A near production prototype of the 2015 Audi R8 has been photographed in Sweden. It was spotted at a gas station in Angelholm while getting a refill and as you can see it was the range-topping V10 Plus model judging by the fixed rear wing. It will cost €187,400 when it will go on sale this summer with an uprated version of the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated engine developing 610 HP (449 kW) and 413 lb-ft (560 Nm) of torque.
The 2015 Audi R8 V10 Plus weighs 3,205 lbs (1,454 kg) and will need only 3.2 seconds to cover the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint before reaching at top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h). The engine’s power is channeled to a quattro all-wheel drive system with help from a revised 7-speed S tronic gearbox boasting three automatic modes as well as manual control.
The Plus version gets 20-inch wheels with 245/30 front and 305/30 rear tires whereas the standard model comes with 19-inch rims shod in 245/35 front & 295/35 rear tires. Opt for the Plus version and you get standard carbon fiber ceramic disc brakes which cost extra on the standard model. The higher specification variant also gets standard clear-coated side blades, rear diffuser and front splitter which are optional on the R8 V10.
