Independent artist Theophilus Chin is back with another project, this time based on the all-new 2015 Audi Q7. At the end of last month he digitally envisioned the A4 Avant (B9) with a floating roofline line and he has now given the full-size SUV a similar treatment to create a sleeker appearance which seems to suit the Q7 very well.
Moreover, TC also made the rear window a little bit more upright while some of the lines in the doors and rear bumper have been eliminated to enable a cleaner look. Needless to say, this is merely a styling exercise to show off his talent and it’s highly unlikely the Q7 will ever receive this treatment.

However, it should be mentioned the 2015 Audi Q7 will eventually spawn a derivative as a “coupe” version labeled Q8 is on track for a 2019 launch and Audi’s R&D chief Ulrich Hackenberg has described it as being sportier and with a more emotional design compared to the Q7. It will use the new styling language inaugurated with the Prologue concept and we should expect to see a more sloped roofline towards the back which will create a more coupe-like profile while eliminating some of the rear headroom. In addition, the new body style will also have a negative impact on the trunk’s capacity which is bound to decrease considerably.
