A brand new 2015 Audi Q7 finished in Florett Silver Metallic is being showcased at Audi Forum Neckarsulm in Germany. Many have criticized Volkswagen’s premium marque for turning its flagship Q model into a high-riding station wagon as these people believe the Q7 doesn’t look like an SUV anymore, more like an allroad-badged model.
This 3.0 TDI quattro version provides a more accurate image of how the full-size SUV really looks like and regardless of tastes, the new Q7 does look substantially different than the model it replaces in Audi’s lineup.
Underneath the new skin is essentially a whole new, much lighter than the old one as weight has gone down by a considerable 325 kg while the dimensions have also been altered since the new Q7 is 37 mm shorter and 15 mm narrower. Despite the decreased footprint, the 2015 Audi Q7 has a much roomier interior cabin with 21 mm more space between the first and second rows of seats, along with 41 mm front & 23 mm rear more headroom.
