Quattro Daily friend Auditography has traveled to Doha, Qatar to work on a photo shoot with a brand new 2015 Audi Q7 3.0 TFSI Tofana White.
He is the same author of those stunning R8 V10 plus images from Malmö, Sweden and now he had the chance to take pictures of an entirely different car, the second-gen Q7. It was a version painted in the optional Tofana White paint and had the more expensive 20-inch alloy wheels. You will also notice the car has LED headlights and is powered by the 3.0 TFSI engine now developing 333 PS and 440 Nm.
Many people will say that the 3.0 TDI is a more appropriate engine for such a large and heavy SUV, but let’s not forget the all-new Q7 has lost up to 325 kg and the body now has a 0.32 drag coefficient. As a consequence, the TFSI is not that bad of an idea as according to Audi it consumes a decent 7.7 liters / 100 km and has 179 g/km of CO2.
That being said, we are sure that at least in Europe the vast majority of Q7 buyers will go for the 3.0 TDI motor thanks to its generous amount of torque available from a low rpm.
As for the design, it’s a delicate subject and we don’t want to start a controversy. In the end, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it is best not to judge one’s opinion.
