The 2015 Audi A8 and S8 facelift pricing information for the U.S. market has been announced today, with the base model kicking off at $77,400 if we don’t take into account the destination charges. The cars will reach dealerships before the end of this month and will have a restyled hood, a new bumper, along with a different grille that is being flanked by LED headlights. Other novelties include a slightly altered interior cabin trim, a different exhaust and up-to-date technology.
Audi USA says the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine has received a 15 bhp power bump from 420 bhp to 435 bhp. The A8 L TDI Clean Diesel wants to be one of the most economical models in this segment by returning an EPA-estimated 24 mpg in the city, 36 mpg on the highway and 28 mpg in the combined cycle.
For the 2015 Audi A8 and S8, engineers installed a new electromechanical steering column that not only reduces weight but also increases fuel efficiency. Opt for the sport package and you get dynamic steering that offers variable-ratio steering increasing responsiveness based on required steering input and speed.
