The recently facelifted 2015 Audi A6 Avant ultra has made its video debut prior to going on sale later this fall. Like the rest of the refreshed A6 lineup, the more practical and economical Avant ultra variant comes with a slightly modified singleframe grille along with reshaped front and rear bumpers as well as different side skirts. Also changed are the exhaust tips while for more money customers have the possibility of opting for LED or matrix LED headlights equipped with dynamic turn signals.
It can be had with a four-cylinder, 1.8-liter TFSI engine which allows the A6 & A6 Avant ultra offer a fuel consumption of just 5.7 liters / 100 km with corresponding CO2 emissions of 133 g/km. A 2.0 TDI engine is also available in this ultra version where it delivers 150 PS (110 kW) and helps both model consume only 4.2 liters / 100 km with CO2 emissions standing at 109 g/km.
Interestingly, those who order the 2015 Audi A6 Avant ultra equipped with the aforementioned turbodiesel engine will also benefit from glass fiber-reinforced polymer springs which lower the car’s curb weight by 4.4 kg. Regardless of the engine choice, these ultra models are equipped with a new S tronic gearbox.
