2014 Audi S8 tuned by ABT to 675 HP

It was back in May when ABT Sportsline upgraded the 2014 Audi S8 and now they are back with a revision to their power kit. As usual, work started on the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine which in the first kit was tweaked to develop an extra 120 HP and 130 Nm to provide a grand total of 640 HP and 780 Nm, but now the output numbers have been taken even further as the high-performance sedan is capable of unleashing as much as 675 HP and 840 Nm.

Thanks to the additional oomph, the 2014 Audi S8 facelift can now run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.6 seconds which makes it a significant 0.5s quicker than the stock car. Moreover, ABT’s engineers have also lifted the top speed limiter from the series 155 mph (250 km/h) to 180 mph (290 km/h).

The upgrade package doesn’t end here as the 2014 Audi S8 has also been equipped with a custom muffler system, a 25mm lowered sports suspension while the stock wheels have been removed in order to make room for a 20-inch set coming with 275/35 R20 tires. There’s also a larger 21-inch wheel wrapped around in a 275/35 R21 tire.

Pricing hasn’t been mentioned but ABT says they are offering the kit with a two-year warranty or 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
