A mint condition Audi Sport Quattro built in 1984 will be auctioned in January when it’s expected to get between $350,000 and $475,000. That’s a serious chunk of money to pay what many are describing as being the most iconic car ever produced by Audi. Only 214 cars were built and this particular car is in great condition and was recently serviced at an Audi dealership.
It’s one of the very few remaining all original cars and it even comes bundled with the owner’s manual, jack, tools as well as the additional set of racing belts. It had only two previous owners who took great care of the car as it looks exceptional both inside and out while the odometer reads only 8,237 km (5,118 miles).
Motivation for the Audi Sport Quattro is provided by the well-known five-cylinder turbo 2133cc outputting an impressive 302 bhp (225 kW) channeled to a quattro all-wheel drive setup via a manual 5-speed transmission.
For the early 80s the Audi Sport Quattro had some pretty amazing specs aside from the all-wheel drive system and the powerful turbo engine as it also came with independent front and rear suspension, ventilated and slotted discs with four-piston calipers for all four wheels while front and rear anti-roll bars were also standard equipment.
